Install the Sendfy Rider app
Mobile browsers stop sending your location the second the screen locks, so you cannot go online from Chrome. The Android app keeps a tracking service running in the background — that is what lets dispatch see you, assign you fairly and defend you in a dispute.
The download link is not published yet. Message dispatch below and they will send you the app file directly.
Ask dispatch for helpSix steps, about three minutes
- 1Tap the download buttonChrome will warn you that this file type can harm your device — tap “Download anyway”. The file is signed by Sendfy.
- 2Allow installs from ChromeAndroid asks once: Settings → Install unknown apps → Chrome → Allow. Then go back and tap the downloaded file.
- 3Open the app and sign inUse the same phone number you use on the rider portal. You will get an OTP as usual.
- 4Grant location “Allow all the time”Precise location must be on. “While using the app” is not enough — dispatch loses you the moment the screen locks.
- 5Turn off battery restrictionsSettings → Apps → Sendfy Rider → Battery → Unrestricted. On Tecno, Infinix, Xiaomi and Oppo also add Sendfy to the protected / auto-start list.
- 6Allow notificationsTrip alerts and the tracking notification both need this. The ongoing notification is what keeps GPS alive — do not swipe it away.
What the app changes
- Location keeps reporting with the screen off and the phone in your pocket.
- A single foreground service — lighter on battery than keeping Chrome awake.
- Trip alerts ring and vibrate even on silent, so you stop missing offers.
- Slot check-in, breaks and cash wallet all work the same as the portal.
